Ernie Ball 2812 Flatwound Slinky bass strings are the first flat-wound strings to take advantage of all the best round-wound performance!

Cobalt-lined, flat-wound hexagonal strings made from the unique Super Bright cobalt alloy provide the ideal core-to-winding ratio. This solution allows you to combine the « silk » smoothness and softness inherent in a flat winding, while adding a pleasant resonance of a round winding.
